Dr. Pandya is a professor in the department of dermatology at the University of Texas (UT) Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. He earned his MD from UT Southwestern Medical School and completed residencies in internal medicine at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas and in dermatology at UT Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Pandya has a special interest in vitiligo, melasma, and other pigmentary disorders. His ongoing clinical research focuses on the epidemiology, measurement, quality of life, and the diagnosis and treatment of these skin disorders.

In 2014, he received the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Prize for Humanism in Medicine of the American Academy of Dermatology.
